10 Tips You Need To Microplane Successfully

10 Microplane Tips To Make Professional Air Dried Bubble Hash Like Fred Morris
1. Silver Dollar Pucks:
Aim for ~1/8" thick, between a quarter and a silver dollar in size. Thinner and it will melt too fast, thicker and it won’t micrplane evenly. Main goal with puck forming is to make microplaning easy.
2. Initial Puck Wick:
- Collect hash into pucks onto moisture-wicking screens (usually 25µ).
- Under screens, place paper towels to wick moisture.
- Place screen on top of hash, and additional towels on top (helps with oxidation and discoloration)
- Place in fridge
- Swap paper towels within first 2 hours, then after 3–4 hours
