Since I started my Hobby Grow in 2019, I’ve stockpiled more than a dozen cuts and 1200+ seeds.

And that does’t even include bag seeds, my Fiancé’s collection, or the seeds I’ve already popped.

As a hobby grower, your efforts are limited both by space and plant count.

As a medical patient in Colorado with an Extended Plant Count, I’m able to have 23 plants, but I can only flower so many at a time–6 to be exact.

A full stable means I’m smoking the same varieties for at least the next 8 months, assuming no hiccups in my schedule.

So, I had to make two tough choices:

  1. Kill half the stable to make room for new flavors.
    (Guided by 3 Brutally Simple Yes-or-No Questions)
  2. Sort through hundreds of seeds and pick those new flavors.
    (Guided by 6 Subjective Considerations)
