7 Reasons Why I’m Forcing Myself To Grow New Flavors Without Taking Cuts

This morning after a kong-sized joint, I encouraged my fiancé to come down into the grow so I could show her what I’d been up to, including some new flavors I’d popped for her.

I showed my fiancé the 7 Garlic Grove ladies I’m growing for her and she asked why I was growing so much of it, to which I responded, “It’s for you to smoke, but I’m not taking cuts.” As I told a buddy this today, he exclaimed:

“Damn no cuts?! What if you find unicorn?”

Nope, not taking any cuts. Here’s why:

7 Reasons I’m Not Taking Cuts Of The Seeds I Popped

  1. If we get a ton of garlicky bud at harvest, I’m gonna be burned out on it.
  2. Garlic isn’t my flavor profile, so if I’m hunting something, it’s to keep around, and if I’m keeping something, it’s within the bounds of my flavor profile.
  3. I didn’t pop the seeds with the intention of hunting; As a spontaneous purchase, rather than a sought-after variety, it’s easier to rationalize not hunting.
  4. I have so many damn seeds that, if I don’t cull some cuts and start popping, I’ll never be able to grow them all.
  5. 7 cuts from 7 new plants really…
