7 Ways I’ve Watched Legal Cannabis Change Since 2015

On December 5th, 2015, I moved to Colorado and made my first legal cannabis purchase.

Me, after getting my Medical card and moving to Colorado in December 2015.

Literally mid-move into the state — with a truck full of my belongings — I stopped to buy legal weed.

I was so excited.

Plus, I’d just escaped Kansas (Mizzou’s arch rival and a terrible state for weed).

I bought 2 brands I had already heard of:

• Mahatma shatter (a product we’d been getting off-market in MO for years)
• Apothecanna Lotion (The only other non-smokable I’d had was chapstick)

Needless to say, the market has changed significantly since.

And, in spite of increased access and supply…

…it hasn’t necessarily been for the better.
