Cultivate Your Relationship with Cannabis (Without Taking a Puff)

You don’t have to smoke weed to have a relationship with cannabis.

In this industry, a personal relationship with the plant is all but mandatory, and for many, that relationship is largely based on consumption.

For years, I was one of those people that believed you had to consume to establish that relationship.

Whether it was a gummy or a topical or a blunt, if you weren’t using and consuming cannabis, you couldn’t possibly have a relationship with this plant.

Now, as a Hobby Grower, I’m walking that belief back because, as I’ve learned in the last few years, growing cannabis offers an equally meaningful relationship with this plant.

When you care for another living thing, it is impossible not to form a relationship; you hold its life and potential in your hands from seed to harvest.

As a grower, you often have a deeper relationship with this plant than consumers, whose enjoyment stems purely from its effects.

Your relationship with cannabis starts the moment you pop your first seed, and is reinforced every single day that you care for that plant.

Your experiences mixing the soil, planting the seed, and feeding regularly all contribute to your relationship with cannabis from start to harvest.

Smoking may be the fastest way to develop a personal relationship with cannabis, but growing is far more intimate.
