Why would a grower care about a dispensary email newsletter?

These days, I don’t shop at the dispo very often.

But I do subscribe to a handful of dispensary emails/texts.

Why bother?

For starters, I’m selective about my subscriptions. I’m not on every Tom, Dick & Harry email list, but I do have a few that I keep my eye on, even though it’s been years since I shopped there.

If you grow your own, and you don’t shop, why subscribe?

The obvious answers are things like market trends and new products. And these aren’t wrong. But they aren’t the main reason I stick around.

Marketing blasts are a great way to pulse check a market.

But the real reason I subscribe?

Hash.
