When I started growing 4 years ago, I told everyone I could to start a grow.
And every time I did one of the first questions they ask is:
“How long until I can stop buying weed?”
The short answer:
Depends on how much you smoke, and how much you’re willing to grow.
There are 4 stages you’ll go through when starting to grow your own:
›› Level #1: Just Starting — Still Buying ‹‹
You’re getting things going, buying what you need, planting seeds. You’re still buying weed because you haven’t grown anything yet.

›› Level #2: First Cycle — Still Buying ‹‹
No matter how big your grow is, you’re going to be buying weed through the end of your first cycle because you won’t have smokable product until you’ve harvested, dried, and cured that bud.
