Most People Think Growing Is Either Too Hard or Too Easy (Hint: They’re Both Wrong)

Want to grow your own weed?

Most people either think it’s too hard, or they think they’ll be the next natural savant, destined for awards and cups.

They’re both wrong.

Your first grow will likely be your worst grow, just like the first time you tried to draw it wasn’t Louvre-worthy. That’s okay. That doesn’t mean your first grow has to be bad, it just won’t be your best — That takes time.

4 Guidelines to Make Your First Hobby Grow Less Painful:

  1. Pick one path and run with it. Too many coaches leads to confusion, and, often, more problems and unnecessary expenses.
  2. Spend the most money on your light. If you’re on a budget, allocate as much money to your light as possible. You don’t need to go big, but you will benefit greatly from a higher quality light than anything else on the list.
  3. Never do something in your grow (or life) that you don’t understand. You don’t have to have a Doctoral understanding, but you should be able to answer the basic “Why” to your efforts. If not, pause and take the time to do so; your growing development will proceed much faster.
  4. Manage your expectations. Remind yourself that you’re learning something new, and there will be bumps along the road.

Few hit a home run on their first at-bat; The same goes for growing.

The best growers know there’s always room for improvement, whether it’s the 1st or 50th harvest.
