The #1 Thing Most People in Cannabis Aren’t Saying About Schedule III
There are a lot of things being said about schedule III right now.
Mostly by people like myself who are not lawyers nor legislators.
People like me who work in the trenches of this industry every day.
They’re saying things like…
- “This will finally allow banks to work with us”
- “This will be the death of the industry”
- “Here comes big pharma”
For anyone in the industry, these are daily pain points.
And the fear that legislation could undue decades of progress and shift the balance completely in the hands of monied, lobbied interests is very real.
But, all of this STILL ignores a crucial aspect of “legalization:”
The right to grow your own.
Take a look at the list of Schedule III substances.
Now, how many of those can we produce at home (legally)?
Schedule III may be a lot of things…
But without the right protections, it could be disastrous for home grow.
And hardly anyone is talking about it.
