The Best Way To Build An Adjustable Trellis For Your 4x4 Grow Tent

I love having an adjustable trellis in my 4x4 tents.

It works for my container tent as well as my raised soil bed tent. I can install it with plants already in the tent—instead of having to set it up beforehand. And, it was one of the cheapest upgrades to my process.

Unfortunately, when I first started, I struggled with trellising my tents.

I was tying trellis nets to the poles of my tent as best I could.

But, somehow, the trellis always ended up loose.

My top branches still fell over.

And I wasn’t getting the most out of my space.

So, when I first saw this method, I was blown away.

I’ve used this same setup for my trellis ever since.

So, if you are trying to set up a trellis in your 4x4, here’s the best way I’ve found to set it up:

  1. Build Your Frame: You’ll need 1" PVC pipe and corners, cut to the size of your tent (I’d even shave a 1/2 inch off each dimension for a smoother fit). Assemble into a square.
  2. Cut & Attach Your Trellis
